The Team
Behind the NetOwl family of products there is a friendly, conscientious team of experts in machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), computational linguistics, and software engineering. We love putting our heads together to come up with the best innovative solutions for our customers. We believe strongly in iterative quantitative and qualitative testing. We are also known for providing prompt and effective technical support to our customers.
Our History
The NetOwl team has a long and successful track record. After participating in U.S. Government-sponsored advanced multilingual text analytics R&D projects, we decided to perform our own corporate-sponsored internal R&D and commercialize the most promising capabilities. This is how NetOwl was born. Our first text analytics product, NameTag, focused on multilingual named entity extraction. We later added relationship and event extraction, geotagging of extracted entities, categorization, multicultural name matching, identity resolution, and most recently, sentiment analysis.
Accolades
The NetOwl team has won numerous accolades. It has consistently been the top performer in many third-party benchmarking events conducted by both commercial and government organizations. Those benchmarking events have included entity, relationship, and event extraction, text categorization, geotagging, and multicultural name matching.
